The Church of America is dying. The Body of Christians in this land is stale and defeated. We have been called by His Name and we are saved and redeemed, but why are we not able to overcome? Simply put, we are not putting on the armor of Christ. One of the biggest commands given to us by our Lord is known as the Great Commission. In this command, it states we are to make disciples, baptizing and teaching them. The question is, what does the American church stand on? What is our foundation? Is it the Rock of our salvation or the sands of doubt? Are our houses built on His promises or are they only insured against fire damage. The Lamb of God is worthy of our worship and worthy of our obedience. So what are we not obeying, willfully or ignorantly? The answer might shock you but it’s important to see. We have misunderstood the Great Commission.
